YOUNG HOUSEWIFE RAMS SCHOOLBUS KILLING 4 PERSONS.
San Jose, Calif. (AP) -- Sun apparently blinded a young housewife whose small foreign sedan rammed the side of a school bus Monday, killing four persons.
Dead were the young woman, her two children, and her mother-in-law.
Highway Patrolman Leon Walters said the absence of skid marks indicated that THELMA PAULINE SHIRLEY, 22, didn't see the bus crossing an intersection near her home at San Martin, 20 miles south of here.
Other victims were her children, RONALD, 2 months old; and LEONA, 4; and MILLIE SHIRLEY, 71, of Tranquility, Calif.
Another of MRS. SHIRLEY'S children, CATHY, 2,
suffered slight injuries. Three youngsters in the school bus were treated for minor cuts and bruises.
