Holt, Calif. (UPI) - Six persons were killed when a speeding west bound Santa Fe stream-liner ploughed into the car in which they were riding at a country intersection in this small town 10 miles west of Stockton.
Those identified among the dead were MRS. DELFINA AVITA, 45, and MRS. NEIVES FUENTES, 25. One man was tentatively identified as JESUS ARREDONDO PEREZ, a Mexican National, a hitchhiker reportedly picked up by others in the car.
Other bodies, still unidentified at mid-morning, included that of a man in his 20's, and two children, a 3-year-old boy and a 1-year-old girl. The children were believed to be those of MRS. FUENTES. All came from Watsonville.
