FIVE KILLED IN YUBA CITY CRASH.

Yuba City, Calif. - (UP) - Five persons were killed and a sixth critically injured Saturday when two autos smashed head-on and burst into flames on U.S. Highway 40A three miles south of Robbins, Calif.
The dead were identified by Sutter County Coroner B. W. Ullrey as:
JOSEPH RALPH CLAYBORN, 30, Route 1, Drain, Ore., and MRS. CLAYBORN;
FLOYD RUSSELL SWARTZ, 63;
MRS. SWARTZ;
and CAROLYN LOIS SWARTZ, 21, all of San Rafael, Calif.
A young daughter of the CLAYBORNS was taken unconscious to the Yolo General Hospital in Woodland, Calif., where she was reported in critical condition.
All six occupants of the two cars were thrown to the pavement by the impact of the crash which occurred on a slight curve on the two-lane road.
The highway patrol was investigating to determine the cause of the crash, one of the worst in Sutter County history.
