FIVE KILLED IN CAMP PENDLETON CRASH.

Camp Pendleton, Calif. - Five people were killed, including two children, when a small car spun out of control Wednesday and slammed head-on into a commuter bus on the Marine base here.
Two other children, who also were riding in the white Ford Escort, were injured. One was in stable condition, the other in good condition, said Camp Pendleton Cpl. Shelly Roberge.
Killed in the 10:30 a.m. accident on Stage Coach Road near Camp Margarita were: a 24-year-old woman and her 4-year-old daughter; an 18-year-old mother and her 2-year-old son; and a 19-year-old woman.
None of the five people in the North County Transit District bus were injured seriously, she said.
