Hart-Parr Company at Charles City Suffers
Second Fire
Charles City, Ia., Feb 18. -- The Hart-Parr
Traction Engine company suffered the second
large fire of the year this morning when the old
Gray iron foundry caught fire from a core oven.
The loss has not been ascertained but will
amount to several thousand dollars. Some
of the patterns and a part of the roof and
woodwork were consumed and the motors were also
damaged. The
first fire occurred about a
month ago in the power house causing a loss of
$10,000.
