Schleswig, Iowa Fire
December 25, 1914
Business Houses Burned.
Denison, Ia., Dec. 30 -- Three of the leading business buildings of
Schleswig were burned to the ground on Christmas night. The buildings were
at the north end of the town, including property owned by
Mr. Schroeder and the general merchandise stock
of Albert Stoltenberg, which was a total
loss. The total damage was some $50,000.
