Lafayette, Indiana Train Wreck

Lafayette, Ind., July 13. -- The
engine and nine loaded coal cars were wrecked on
the
Monon railway at Little Wea bridge near here
yesterday, when the train, which the engineer
was unable to stop, after being flagged, ran
into the bridge on which laborers were repairing
track. B. P. Young, brakeman, of
Lafayette, was seriously injured. He was
through over telegraph wires against a wire
fence.
