Train Wreck
November 22, 1899
TWO MEN ARE KILLED
ONE SERIOUSLY INJURED AND FOUR OTHERS HURT.
VALPARAISO, Ind., Nov. 23 – The revised
list of the dead and injured this morning from
the wreck at McCools station yesterday, shows
that HARRY BRADFORD
and JOHN
STINE, trainmen, were killed, and
fireman ELMER ORR
may die.
The injured who were taken to Chicago, are:
JAMES GANNON,
Allegheny, right wrist severely crushed.
F.R. FERGUSON,
Walton Place, Chicago, postal clerk, bruised
about head and body.
B.J. BLOOMER, Newark, O., bruised
about body.
FREDERICK HUDSON, Columbia, O., cut
about head and arms and legs injured.
Each of the dead men leaves a family and all
were among the best known and most valued
employes of the road.
