Fire
destroyed the livery stables of
T. J. O'Connell
& Co., and burned thirteen head horses
with a large amount of wagons, harness and feed.
The fire spread to the adjoining five-story
Crawford building burning out the
Alliance
Advocate and destroying the two upper stories.
The total loss is place at $10,000. The Kansas Farmer,
Senator Peffer's paper was also
damaged by water.
