BOY AND GIRL BURN TO DEATH IN PLANE

Portsmouth, N. H. April 27.--A boy and
girl burned to death after an airplane crash
beside the Portsmouth Country Club this
afternoon. The dead pilot was badly burned.
The children earlier in the day had been given
their first airplane ride by the pilot and had
been eager to go again. The pilot was making for
the Portsmouth Airport from the Hessler Farm in
Greenland, when the engine stalled. In
attempting to land on a road, a wing caught on a
tree and the plane burst into flames as it
crashed.

Two 13 year-old children taking their first
airplane ride were killed yesterday at
Portsmouth, N. H., within sight of their mothers
when a sightseeing plane dived to earth and
burst into flames.

Geneva Brockett, fourteen, of Suffield, Conn,
and Bruce Heffier fourteen of Greenland. The
pilot Clyde Robinson of Exeter, was seriously
burned.

Killed.
PORTSMOUTH, N. H. April 28--(I. N. S.) --A
boy and a girl were dead here today, burned to
death in a plane which broke into flames as it
fell after hitting a wing against a tree. The
pilot was severely burned but was expected to
recover.
The victims were Geneva Brackett and Bruce
Hessler, both 14 years old.
