Nash,
Oklahoma Tornado
June
19, 1928
OKLAHOMA CITY, Ok., June 20 (AP). --
Two persons were killed, more than a score were
injured and property damage running into
millions of dollars was done by a series of
tornadoes, hail, rain, and windstorms which
swept Northern and Southern Oklahoma Tuesday
night and Wednesday....
Nash residents looked on in awe Tuesday night
as a twister roared overhead and struck four
miles east, on the farm of
Ed Cook, where
Cook and several farm hands had a
narrow escape, by leaping into a motor car and
racing down the road.
