Fisher House Fire
February 25, 1913
FOUR DIE IN FLAMES.
Mother and Children Burned to Death In their
Home.
HUNTINGDON, Pa., Feb 25-
Mrs. HARRY FISHER
and her three children perished today in a fire
which destroyed their home. The woman had left
her children alone in the house while she went
on an errand to a grocery store. When she
returned she discovered the house in flames.
Rushing in to rescue the children, she was
overcome by flames and smoke. When the fire was
extinguished her body was found in the kitchen
beside those of the three children. It is
thought that the youngsters set the place afire
while playing near the kitchen range.
