Waldman, Texas Tornado
April 21, 1912
ANTHONY, TEXAS, April 20. -- A tornado that followed a path two miles
long in the vicinity of Waldman, ten miles southwest of here, today brought
death to one person, injured eight others and did damage through loss of farm
buildings and live stock, estimated at $15,000.
A. Broyle, a farmer, was killed when the
storm destroyed his home, in which he and his family were sheltered.
Mrs. Broyle was seriously injured, a son
suffered a broken leg and two small children of the family were slightly
injured. The house and outbuildings on the farm of a farmer named
Borden were carried away by the tornado.
Borden, his wife and two children were injured.
