Hudson, Wisconsin Tornado

Next to New Richmond the
most severe damage done by the storm was at
Hudson, Wis., and also at LaCrosse, Wis. In the
vicinity of the first named town a tornado and
cloudburst destroyed wires, unroofed residences,
barns and outbuildings all along its path.

Leveled by the Wind
Hudson, Wis., June 13. -- A cyclone
passed two and half miles southeast of Hudson.
Harry Mattison's
house and barn and all his farm buildings were
blown flat. The family were in the cellar
and no one was hurt.

Storm of Great Violence Elsewhere than New Richmond
Hudson, Wis., June 13. .....The storm center seemed to strike the farm
buildings of Mr. Spencer and
Mrs. Hurd which are a total wreck. Mr.
Spencer and family were in the cellar and escaped with slight injuries, but Mrs.
Hurd, with a little girl that was stopping with her, was killed. A man
named Neige from Deer Park, who drove in for
the storm to pass, was also killed. Dead horses and stock are to be seen
everywhere in the line of the storm.
The number of people killed between Hudson and
New Richmond is estimated at eight.
