Two children of Joseph Buckner, a Jackson county farmer, whose deaths were reported yesterday, were killed in a cellar. Buckner saw the storm coming and with his children took refuge in the cellar.  The house was carried away and a horse which had been blown out of the barn and carried high into the air fell upon the family crouching in the cellar.  Edna and Will Buckner were killed, while Mr. and Mrs. Buckner were badly injured.  One boy of the Buckner family was blown away before he could reach the cellar and was badly injured.

More than 25 farm houses were demolished in Jackson county.

Bismarck Daily Tribune, Bismarck, ND 6 Jul 1907

The full effect of the storm was first felt at Millston. Traveling south, it struck Warrens Mills, where buildings were torn down and a number of people hurt.  The crop was completely ruined and farm buildings torn down in a line across the county to Oakdale, were the whole town was torn into pieces.
