THREE LIVES LOST
Disastrous Fire in a Hotel in West Virginia
Parsons, W. Va, Mar 14 -- At Mackeyville, six miles north of here, a
disastrous fire  occurred
yesterday in the lobby of the hotel. Eugene
Sisson, Homer Cotlet and Squire Corley, were burned to an
unrecognizable mass and Jacob R. Cofner, William
Wilson, J. E. Williams were severely if not fatally injured.
Fifteen persons escaped by jumping from windows. The dead are single men.
Hotels and store are a total loss, amounting to about $3,000, and no insurance.
