The Decomposed Remains of a Defaulter Discovered.
WASHINGTON, D. C., March 17.---The badly decomposed body of a man was found yesterday morning in the eastern branch of the Potomac river. Mrs. Jones, wife of Benj. A. Jones, the defaulting paymaster of Maj. Goodloe, of the Marine Corps, this morning identified the body as that of her husband, who has been missing since Christmas day. She also indentified several articles taken from his clothing.
