Negro Fractures Skull In Falling From Train
WEST POINT, GA., June 3--Special to The Advertiser--Lem Traylor, colored, suffered a fractured skull when he fell beneath the rear coach of A. and W. P. Train No. 40, as the train pulled out of the station at 1:20 a.m. today. His condition is critical, but physicians say he may be saved by an operation.
He was attempting to leave the train after it had begun to develop speed, lost his footing before releasing the train and was drawn underneath. It is thought he was struck by a step of another part of the car and not by a wheel.
