3 in Plane Die in Crash

STATESBORO, Ga., (AP)--A small private airplane, trying to find the airport in a dense fog, crashed early today and took its three occupants to a fiery death. Identification was difficult.

E. W. Barnes of the Barnes Funeral Home at Statesboro, said, however, there was no doubt that they were Henry Ellon Clifton, Statesboro photographer and owner of the plane, and two students at Georgia Teachers College.

The students were Bob Fuqua of Hilliard, Fla., near Jacksonville, and Hump Campbell, whose wife teaches school in Savannah.
