Bleeding to Death.
Macon, Ga., February 2. – [Special.] – A bottle of powder in the pocket of WILLIE GLOVER, a lad of twelve years old, ignited from a spark this afternoon and exploded, burning him severely. Pieces of glass were blown into his cheek, severing the facial artery, producing hemorrhage, from which he nearly bled to death. His condition is precarious. Doctors WALKER and WINCHESTER cut out the glass and stopped the hemorrhage.
