Lake Charles Party Is Injured in Auto Wreck
Washington, Ga., Sept. 5 (AP)—J. E. Watkins, his wife and Mrs. Margaret Hershleheim of Lake Charles, La., and four other people were injured near here last night in an automobile collision.
Mrs. Watkins was injured severely on the face. Mrs. Hershleheim and Watkins were bruised.
Others injured were Billie Fickling and Billie Callaway of Atlanta and Misses Louise Toombs and Edith Newman of Washington.
Fickling’s skull was fractured and doctors fear Callaway suffered similar injuries.
Miss Toombs suffered a dislocated jaw and Miss Newman an injured shoulder.
The cars were driven by Watkins and Fickling.
