Centerville, ID Falls from Wagon, Jun 1902

John O’Brien Falls from a Wagon, Dislocating His Hip.

Placerville, June 7.—John O’Brien, a man who had recently arrived in the Basin, met with an accident last Thursday at Centerville. He had been at work for Mr. Clark in Garden Valley, roadbuilding, but was then on his way to the Lucky Boy mine. When near Centerville, he fell out of a wagon, and remained there unable to move for a number of hours, before a passerby discovered him. He was brought to Placerville Friday morning to Dr. Boone who found him suffering with dislocation of the hip. He was taken from here today to the county hospital at Hawkins’ tollgate.
