Chicago, IL Liebman and Sons Clothing Store Fire, Dec 1869
CHICAGO, ILL., Dec. 10.---Last evening a fire broke out in the clothing house of Samuel Liebman & Sons. It was soon got under control, and it was supposed the damage was small. It has since been ascertained to be $25,000 or $30,000. The insurance is $56,000, insured by the following companies: Cleveland, $2,500: Commercial, $2,500: Mutual, $2,500: Phoenix, of Hartford, $5,000: Glenn's Falls, New -York, $2,500: Enterprise, of Cincinnati, $10,000: North British, $5,000: Narragansett, of Providence, $2,500: Irving, of New-York, $2,500: New-England Mutual, of Boston, $5,000: Independent, of Boston, $2,500: Queen's, of Liverpool, $10,000.
