State Traffic Deaths

The associated Press today reported 318 traffic deaths in Indiana this year compared to 298 traffic deaths on May 16 a year ago.

In traffic accidents during this weekend, six persons, including four teenagers, were killed on Indiana streets and highways.

Two of the victims died early Sunday in a one-car crash on a Merrillville street. Police said Lawrence RADINSKY, 17, of Crown Point and Gerald DECK, 18, of Merrillville were killed when their car veered off the street at high speed and crashed into a utility pole.

Walter MUNCIE, 19, of Charlestown was killed Sunday night when the car in which he was riding ran off a curve on a Clark County road and overturned.

Debra DULP, 17, of Plymouth died Saturday night after she was thrown from a car when it . . . . .

Allen Eitman, 35, of Fort Wayne, was struck by a car and killed Sunday on a Fort Wayne street. Police said Eitman either jumped or threw himself in the path of the auto.
Vernonica Viniuan, 12, of lMarion was killed Friday night when her bicycle was struck by a car on the Indiana 37 bypass at Marion."
