FIVE INJURED WHEN BUS IS WRECKED.

DRIVER AND FIVE PASSENGERS TREATED FOLLOWING ACCIDENT SUNDAY.

Greenfield, Ind. - The driver of a Central Swallow bus and four passengers were treated for injuries Sunday evening after the bus struck a tree on East Main Street. FORREST G. LEWIS, age 27, 305 North Wood Street, was the driver of the bus.
MR. LEWIS told authorities that he swerved his bus to avert striking a car which turned onto Main Street from Wood Street. He lost control of the vehicle which skidded into the tree.
MR. LEWIS was treated at the office of Dr. J. L. Allen for an injured right hand.
The passengers, MRS. LENA CARROLL, 35, of Indianapolis; MRS. IRENE CHANDLER, 34, of Indianapolis; MRS. WANDA VORES, 22, of Indianapolis, and GLEN VORES, 32, of Indianapolis,
were treated at the office of Dr. Ralph Arnold. MRS. CARROLL and MRS. VORES each suffered a broken nose; MRS. CHANDLER suffered a badly sprained shoulder and MR. VORES suffered a knee injury.
The bus was badly damaged. The passengers were transferred to another bus and the trip to Indianapolis was continued.
