FIVE KILLED IN CRASH OF TWO CARS IN IOWA.

THREE STUDENT NURSES ARE AMONG DEAD IN ACCIDENT ON ROUTE 30.

Jefferson, Iowa (AP) - Five persons including a Creighton University student and three student nurses, were killed late yesterday in a two-car crash near here. It was Iowa's worst highway accident this year.
The collision occurred at an intersection where old and new U. S. 30 join in Greene County, about 15 miles west of Jefferson. Two others were seriously injured.
Dead are:
JOAN McCARTHY, 20, of Fort Dodge;
CORA BOES, 20, of Ogden;
and SALLY HOEVEN, 20, of Storm Lake, all student nurses in Omaha.
MICHAEL A. LAMDENDOLA, 24, of Amsterdam, N.Y., student at Creighton University in Omaha;
MRS. ALICE DAVIS, 48, of Jefferson.
