TWO ENGINEMEN ARE KILLED IN WRECK ON ROAD IN IOWA.
Afton Junction, Ia., Feb. 22. -- JAMES MAXWELL a locomotive engineer of Des Moines, and his fireman, H. L. HICKOK of the same place, were killed and Mail Clerk F. M. PERRY of Waterloo, Ia., seriously injured in a wreck on the Chicago Great Western Railroad, three miles north of here today. Spreading rails are blamed. No passengers were seriously injured. The train was No. 1 from Des Moines to Kansas City.
