FREIGHT TRAINS IN COLLISION.

ONE MAN IS KILLED AND THREE ARE INJURED IN WRECK.

ENGINES COME TOGETHER ON THE MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD.

Kansas City, Mo., December 27. -- A special from Paola, Kansas, to the Star says:
A head-end collision occurred between freight trains on the Missouri Pacific Railroad a mile south of Dodsan at one o'clock this morning.
The dead:
T. P. NORTON, brakeman, Sedalia, Mo.
The injured:
WILLIAM BEDELL, engineer; badly scalded.
J. SPAULDING, breakman; head cut and gash on arm.
J. W. HILL, engineer; badly bruised.
Both firemen were slightly injured.
