2 JOHNSON MEN KILLED - POWER LINES HIT.

Johnson - Two employees of a Johnson pump company were killed Tuesday morning in an electrical accident 2 1/2 miles north of here.
A spokeswoman for L. & N. Pump, Inc., identified the employees as CLIFFORD SCHWEITZER, JR., and FRANK GARCIA. Both men were Johnson residents, she said. Ages of the men weren't available.
The spokeswoman said the men were electrocuted when a derrick they were transporting into a field touched some electrical lines.
The accident occurred at about 10 a.m.
Charles Hoag of Pioneer Electric Cooperative, Ulysses, said the power lines were knocked down in the accident and power was lost in part of the area. Hoag said he didn't know how extensive the damage was. Pioneer employees were working to repair the lines.
Stanton County Sheriff's officers remained at the scene throughout the morning and further details weren't available.
