A BUS WRECK AT SALINA.
SIX INJURED WHEN OIL TANKER HITS PASSENGER BUS.
Salina, Dec. 30 (AP) - Six persons were injured today when an oil tank truck crashed into a Santa Fe Trails system bus three miles south of here.
Two women were taken to hospitals. They were MRS. EDITH JACOBSON, Oklahoma City, and MRS. R.C. CARLISLE, Salina. MRS. JACOBSON suffered a back injury and physicians planned to make an X-ray examination later today.
Three other bus passengers and H. W. McLAUGHLIN, Hiawatha, driver of the oil truck, were given medical attention at doctors' offices.
Sheriff C. J. Anderson said the collision resulted when McLAUGHLIN attempted to pass another oil truck and drove into the path of the approaching bus.
All of the bus passengers were showered with flying glass.
