Died Of Shock
Christ Freis, the man who was run over by an electric car at Preston and Market Street Friday morning, died at the City Hospital yesterday morning at 7 o'clock. the man's right leg was run over below the knee by the wheels of the trail car. An amputation above the joint was afterward found necessary. It was thought that he was doing well, considering the serious nature of his injury, but late Friday night he began sinking and died early the following morning of shock, caused by the accident. The Coroner will hold an inquest to-morrow afternoon. The funeral will take place to-day, the interment being at St. Michael's Cemtery.
Funeral of Cornelius Freis
The funeral of Cornelius Freis, who was run over Friday by an electric car at Preston and Market Streets, and who died at the City Hospital yesterday morning, will take place this afternoon at 3 o'clock from his late residence, 1218 Goss Avenue. The interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
