Laborer Hit By Train Dies Of Injuries

Lebanon Junction Man Dragged Over 100 Feet

ARTHUR B. WATERS, JR., 21, Lebanon Junction, KY, a laborer in the L & N Railroad shops, was killed at 6:30 p.m. yesterday when he was struck by a southbound L & N passenger train while walking along the tracks in the Strawberry Yard, a half-mile west of Crittenden Drive.

Coroner John M. Keaney said WATERS sufffered a skull fracture, a broken right arm and compound fractures of both legs. He was dragged more than 100 feet by the train.

Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs Arthur B. Waters, Sr.; his wife, Mrs. Stella Waters; two sisters, Miss Della Waters and Miss Stella Waters, and seven brothers; William H. Waters, Charles ? Waters, David L. Waters, Ha?ley T. Waters, Howard G. Waters, Edgar P. Waters and Donald ? Waters, all of Lebanon Junction.
