BAD WRECK ON B. & O.---PULLMAN COACH BURNED UP.
ENGINEER STICKS TO HIS POST AND SAVES FIRST SECOND FROM BEING TELESCOPED..
CUMBERLAND, Md., Nov. 23.---The second section of a Baltimore & Ohio passenger train crashed into the first section south of the Cumberland yards at 1 o'clock this morning and Firemen Lewis Massey was injured and died at 3 o'clock. The engineer, George Kendall, was hurt, but not fatally. He heroically stuck to his post, saving the first section from being telescoped. No passengers were seriously hurt. The rear Pullman coach was burned up. The wreck was caused by the first section being detained by another wreck.
