The total loss by the fire in Weil, Dreyfus & Co.'s establishment, in Summer-street, Boston, Wednesday night, is now stated to be $35,000. The firm has insurance policies aggregating $145,000 in the following companies: Imperial and Northern and Metropolitan, $10,000 each; Commercial Union, City of London, Phoenix, of London, Aetna, of Hartford; Norwich Union; Niagara, of New York; Orient, of Hartford; Tradesmen's, of New York; Howard, of New York; Lancashire, State of Pennsylvania; American, of Newark; Newark Fire, Manhattan; Watertown, Firemen's Fund, of California; Equitable, of Providence; Merchant's, of Providence; Williamsburg City, Jefferson, and New York City. $5,000 each: Atlantic, of Providence; Firemen's, of Dayton; Glen's Falls, County of Philadelphia; North German, American, of New York; Phoenix, of Hartford, and Home, of New York. $2,500 each. The building is owned by Mr. Billings, and is fully insured, the loss thereon being only $1,000.
