Five Cities and Towns Help Fight Lively Blaze

REVERE, April 28 (AP)---Beachmont Gardens, a three-story wooden building housing a dozen stores, a dance hall and several apartments was badly damaged by a fire of unknown cause early today. Damage was estimated at more than $25,000.

Four alarms were sounded and aid was summoned from Lynn, Everett, Malden, Chelsea and Winthrop. The building is situated in a thickly populated section and a high wind threatened for a time to spread the fire to others structures.

Several small children were carried to the street by police and firemen.
