Ludington, MI (Lake Michigan) Schooner MINNIE WILLIAMS Wreck, Oct 1875

Chicago, Oct. 28. -- The schooner Minnie Williams, laden with coal, bound from Cleveland to Chicago, is believed to have been lost.
Telegrams received here today state that the body of her captain, P. A. BARRY, and also the body of one of her crew, washed ashore near Pentwater, Mich., today.
Papers belonging to the vessel were found on the person of Capt. BARRY.
She carried a crew of eight men, was worth about $12,000 and was insured for $11,000.
