Woodside, MI Packing House Explosion, Feb 1888

DYNAMITE'S DEADLY WORK.

Hancock, Mich., Feb. 7. -- The Hancock Chemical Company's packing houses Nos. 1 and 2 at Woodside, near here, were demolished by an explosion of dynamite at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon. In the latter house when the explosion occurred were three men.
The killed were:
JOSEPH ARMOND.
JOHN OLSON.
ADAM USILA.
ARMOND was a French-Canadian and the other two Finlanders. All were single men.
