Port Huron, MI Training Flight Crash, May 1934
TWO FLIERS CREMATED WHEN PLANE CRASHES.
Port Huron, Mich. May 20 (AP) - A Selfridge Field airplane crashed and burned just after taking off from the Marysville Airport this morning, cremating Lieutenant FRANK J. FINDLAY, 30, of Detroit, and Private GEORGE J. SCOTT, 27, of the Seventeenth Pursuit Squadron.
Lieutenant FINDLAY was a member of the air reserves, with inactive status. He and Private SCOTT, who had been in the air service for only a few months, were on a training flight.
