THREE IN FAMILY DIE IN CRASH AT THIEF RIVER.

Thief River Falls, Minn. -- (AP) -- Three members of one family were killed late Wednesday.
Killed when their car and an auto transport trailer collided near their rural Thief River Falls home were OSCAR HOGQUIST, 65, his wife, 56, and their adopted son, LOREN, 27.
LAWRENCE GOLDEN, St. Paul, driver of the truck which carried three new cars, was hospitalized at Thief River Falls in serious condition. Police said the crash came as one of the two vehicles involved attempted to pass another car.
Patrolmen said the tractor cab was driven through the HOGQUIST car. LOREN and MRS. HOGQUIST were thrown out but welding torches had to be used to free MR. HOGQUIST'S body.
