TWO KILLED IN KEARNEY CRASH.
Kearney, Neb. (AP) -- S. Sgt. ROBERT K. CUMMINGS, Revere, Mass., an engineer, and First Lt. ROBERT E. GILLEN, co-pilot, of Portland, Ore., were killed in the crash of a four-engined bomber near the Kearney air base Wednesday night, Col. Vernon B. Trevellyan, base commander, said Thursday. The plane, on a routine training flight, was from Gore Field at Great Falls, Mont.
Injured in the crash was Second Lt. ARLO D. ROCKNEY, pilot, of Edgerton, Wyo.
