Unidentified Body, Found Near Elko

ELKO, April 7.--(UP)--Possibility of foul play was investigated by sheriff's officers tonight in connection with the body of an unidentified man who was found last night on a sandbar in the North Fork, 18 miles east of Elko.

Two miners discovered the body, which had been in the stream for an indefinite time. The skull was fractured, indicating in which the man had been struck by an automobile, according to authorities.

Little means of identification remained.
