Nashua, NH Truck Accident, Mar 1949
ESCAPES CRITICAL INJURIES WHEN HIS TRUCK CRASHES
Twenty-one-year-old Nashua youth narrowly escaped critical injury this morning when the light truck he was driving went out of control on the Derry rd about 7:30 and was totally wrecked.
ACCORDING to Hudson Police Chief Andrew J. Polak, the youth, Roland C. Cadieux of 245 Main st, was driving alone toward Derry when the truck left the road just beyond the Hudson Speedway, crashed into several trees at the roadside and was totally demolished. Cadieux escaped with a shaking up.
Chief Polak said Cadieux told him he was on his way to the University of New Hampshire at Durham at the time of the accident.
INVESTIGATION into the accident was continuing today.
