Aged Woman Saved from Death by Hammonton Hackman
Special to The Inquirer
HAMMONTON, N. J., Aug. 17--William C. Saunders, a hackman, known by the traveling public as "Doc," again proved himself a hero last night by pulling aged Mrs. Dr. Charles Wilson from in front of an express train on the West Jersey and Seashore Railroad.
Mrs. Wilson started to cross the tracks and did not hear the oncoming express. Her danger was noticed by the driver, who leaped upon the track and threw her from in front of the train as it whizzed by.
