Two Drowned in the Hudson

MRS. HELEN WHEATTLEY, of New York City, jumped from a high cliff at 197th street into the Hudson River, in an effort to save her daughter, HELEN, six years old, who had fallen from the embankment into the water, and both mother and child were drowned. They were attending a picnic.
