Buffalo, NY Glove Factory and Saloon Fire, Dec 1869
BUFFALO, Dec. 10.--- A lot of frame buildings on the corner of Washington and Seneca streets, immediately opposite the Post Office, were destroyed by fire this evening. The buildings were owned by LEWIS BAPST, and occupied by JACOB FEINE as a glove factory, and GEORGE and J. BUCHETE as a saloon. The fire originated in the glove factory. The loss is about $15,000, partly insured. The adjacent buildings were uninjured.
