CAR SKIDS INTO TRUCK; 3 KILLED

Marysville, O. (AP) - A Columbus couple and their foster child were killed near Marysville Sunday when icy roads spun their automobile into the path of a truck.
The auto, driven by ROY MEADE, 41, was demolished. He was killed along with his wife, ELLA, 30, and their four-year-old foster child, CHRISTINE CORDLE. A brother of the dead man, JESSE MEADE, 38, suffered a fractured right leg, while the MEADES' son, GARY, 8, was uninjured.
Union County Deputy Sheriff Willis Bartley said that the MEADE car was travelling south on Route 33 when it went off the road and onto the shoulder. In trying to get back on the road, the auto went into a spin and collided head-on with a truck coming in the opposite direction.
