Car Containing Theatrical Company Goes Over Bank at Kulpmont

SHENANDOAH, Pa., May 26.—While carrying members of the Midnight Sons Dramatic Company, of this city, to Shamokin this evening, an automobile, driven by Jacob Omlor, ran over a forty-foot embankment near Kulpmont. Six of the occupants received serious injuries.

John Gelb received a broken arm, Omler was badly cut over his left eye, Michael Durkin suffered a broken nose and internal injuries, James Lang received internal injuries, a broken right arm and had several fractured ribs, Andrew Check had his ankle dislocated and Joseph Nork received internal injuries.

All the injured were hurried to the Shamokin State Hospital. The car was demolished. It is said the steering gear broke when running at a high rate of speed.
