Special to The Inquirer.

READING, July 16.---Charles, the oldest son of James Arndt, of the Pleasant View Stock Farm, in Mexatawny township, was taking the cattle to pasture when he was attacked by a vicious bull. Although the animal was dehorned, he butted the lad and threw him repeatedly into the air.

This was kept up until several men came to the boy's aid. He had several ribs broken, his collar bone was dislocated and he was severally bruised.
