Stroudsburg, PA Pickup Truck Accident, Aug 1975

East Stroudsburg - A 12-year-old East Stroudsburg boy Monday became the fourth victim of a grisly July 4 pickup truck wreck that killed his sister and two young friends.
Monroe County Coroner Daniel G. Warner said ROBERT EARL YOUNG, JR., of 461 Normal St., died at 6:15 p.m. in the General Hospital of Monroe County, one month after the accident occurred on Interstate 80 in Stroudsburg.
The youth's father, ROBERT EARL YOUNG, SR., of Tobyhanna, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for the three deaths July 4 and will face similar charges for his son's death, Warner said.
All four of the victims were riding in the back of the pickup truck when it went out of control, hit a concrete median and tipped over, spewing 11 people into the road and down a steep embankment.
The other dead include the boy's sister, ANNE MARIE YOUNG, 10; CHARLOTTE DEATS, 11, of East Stroudsburg and DORIS McKEEGAN, 7, of Beaver Brook.
The dead youth would have entered the sixth grade of the East Stroudsburg Area School District's Smithfield School in September.
