MAN KILLED IN SMALL PLANE CRASH.
Greensburg (AP) - Authorities in western Pennsylvania have identified a Pittsburgh man as the pilot who died in the crash of a small plane in a wooded area of Westmoreland County.
Authorities say 78-year-old JOHN HABER was flying the twin-engine Cessna that crashed five miles north of Route 22 at about 9:45 a.m. Sunday.
A county Department of Public Safety spokesman describes HABER as an experienced recreational pilot who flew nearly every weekend to and from Arnold Palmer Regional Airport near Latrobe.
The crash is under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration.
